Accessibility Statement
Effective June 21, 2026
EPIC is committed to making epictrail.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including riders with disabilities. We believe an epic ride should be something everyone can share.
Our Commitment
We strive to conform our website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the W3C, and to comply with applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and applicable US state accessibility laws.
Measures We Take
- Include accessibility as a requirement in our design and development process.
- Use semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks for screen-reader navigation.
- Provide descriptive alternative text for product imagery.
- Ensure visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Maintain a minimum WCAG AA color contrast ratio for body text and UI controls.
- Support keyboard navigation throughout the checkout flow.
- Provide captioned video where embedded on product pages.
- Test with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only usage.
- Respect operating-system "Reduce Motion" preferences.
Conformance Status
This site is designed to be "partially conformant" with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to identify and resolve remaining issues.
Known Limitations
Some user-generated content (such as social media embeds and customer review media) may not be fully accessible. We work with our partners to improve these experiences.
